One of my favorite parts of the day is listening to Daddy read bedtime stories to you.  

Many mornings you would wake up before feeding time but if I put you in bed with me you would go back to sleep.  I would just lay there and watch you sleep.  Love!

You found yourself in the mirror and started rolling over some.

You attended Grammie & Opa camp for the first time.

Happy 4th of July!  You met more cousins (Meredith, Brad, Abby & Bryant).

We texted Daddy "Happy Birthday" from you!

Your cousin Jack always sat beside you during church rocking you and taking care of you.  It was so sweet to watch!

Started smiling at 6 weeks, this one was for Aunt Leslie.

You met Aunt Danielle, she had just moved back stateside from being stationed in Italy with The Navy.

You also met Cousin Annie this month, she enjoyed holding you.

One of my favorite times was after your mid morning feeding, you would just smile and try to talk to me.  I loved that time with you each day.

We stayed in Cleveland with Grammie & Opa for a week while Daddy worked at the office there.  So of course we had to visit the grands at work.  They loved showing you off!

This was Daddy's 1st Father's Day.  We went out to lunch after church with Papa Joe & Nana to Fork & Pie.  It was a great day!

May 2013

May was all about getting to know you and enjoying every second! 

 Sometimes I am in the pictures, but mostly I take them.

 Happy 1 month!  I loved this cow cloth diaper, so cute!

 It has been my goal to photograph you with Reece every month, this was the first time you were that close to each other and she was SO well behaved.  I think she loves you!

 I loved taking pictures of you sleeping in the bassinet.  You look so peaceful.

My first Mother's Day.  You were 3 weeks old, we took you to church for the first time.

I have been terrible about blogging since Drew came along!  I am going to try and remedy this by going back and posting some of my favorite memories of each month.  Here goes April...

We took this picture before we drove to the hospital to check in for our induction.

 This was Drew's second night at home, all ready for bed.  He actually fell asleep on his own just like that.  Those were the good days when he would sleep 4-5 hr stretches.  That all changed at 3 weeks, but it was wonderful while it lasted!

 This was taken after daddy got home from work, his first day back to work after Drew was born.  We were SO happy to see him!

Drew's first tub bath, daddy has been the bath giver 99% of your life to this point.  You liked the water as long as we kept a warm washcloth over you.

Drew's Baptism, June 9th 2013

On Sunday we baptized Drew during our church service.  It was such a special day to share with our church family but also with our actual family.  We committed to raise you in the church and be a Christian example to you and we pray that you will grow up to love and serve the Lord too.

Pastor Brian baptized him.  He is a good friend of Daddy & Mommy.

Grammie made your baptism gown, it is very special.
